Comparing graphite with steel shaft, graphite’s center gravity is located on the butt side and this affects swing weight to achieve desirable swing balance. In order to improve this, more materials are wound on the tip side in general but this causes high rigidity to the shaft (EI) and as the result it hurts feel of shaft. By development of Metal Composite Technology （MCT）, we could achieve two important features in graphite shaft for iron.One is adjustment of CGL (50% or closed to 50%) in a shaft, and the other is better controllability by smooth movement coming from thinner silhouette which should be essential to iron shafts.
This is the trade name showing technology and concept developed to unite metal and CFRP.

MC50,60,70 uses metal foil and performed most suitable CGMC50,60,70 uses metal foil and performed most suitable CG location in this weight range.
