Development Background

The new JADE SPEEDER brand has been born as a distance-focused shaft designed to maximize driving distance.

With the JEWEL LINE, we have pursued exceptional distance performance by making extensive use of high-modulus materials to increase clubhead speed.
By incorporating a new distance-generating concept, we have successfully achieved a level of distance performance unlike anything before.

High-Torque + DELOFT Design

As a new distance-generating concept, we have incorporated a “High-Torque + DELOFT” design.
The smoother head path prevents the clubhead from opening up through impact, allowing the club to drive through impact while maintaining its loft angle.
This reduces unnecessary spin and helps maximize distance.
⁕Through swing simulations, we identified the optimal conditions for maximizing distance: increasing torque to create a smoother head path, while increasing the bending stiffness of the shaft’s tip and mid sections to promote a lower dynamic loft at impact.

For the first time in Fujikura, we have adopted Toray’s TORAYCA® T1200G, a carbon fiber that combines high modulus and high strength.

By double-layering T1200G, which offers more than 10% higher tensile strength than T1100G, throughout the entire shaft length and in the reinforcement layers, the combination of T1200G and 90-ton carbon fiber maximizes the benefits of the DELOFT design.
At the same time, it eliminates the feeling of instability often associated with lightweight shafts that provide greater shaft load, delivering a sharp, responsive rebound for a powerful impact.
